Crazy Rich Feast

Inspired by movie and novel "Crazy Rich Asians", here is Vancouver's very own Crazy Rich Feast hosted at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts on October 20, 2018 with native Singaporean Chef Regina Lee. Led by Chef Lee, an alumna of PICA, the team at PICA cooked up authentic Singapore dishes inspired by the movie; all 14 dishes and 4 desserts from scratch for 62 seated guests.

Special VIP, Nelson Coates Production Designer for the "Crazy Rich Asians" movie delighted guests in his attendance at the dinner. Nelson generously shared with guests behind the scenes movie highlights on this very special one time only seated dinner. Tickets were sold out in advance with a long waiting list. Live music (Bertrand and Ann Read) and Singapore Slings completed this Crazy Rich Feast. Top front of house service led by Tim Ellison and his team for a smooth, seamless and enjoyable night. A night to remember, complete with beautifully decorated table and room settings.

Appetisers :   Rojak. Roti Canai. Lentil Curry. Fried Carrot Cake.

Main Dishes : Hainanese Chicken Rice. Poached Siu Pak Choy. Nasi Lemak. Beef Rendang. Char Kway Teow. Laksa.

Highlight :      Singapore Chili Dungeness Crab sponsored by FRESH IDEAS START HERE. Fried Mantou.

Palate Cleanser : Calamansi and Lemongrass Ice Kachang

Dessert :        Cake Lapis. Kuih Sarlat. Chocolate Chiffon Ganache Cake with 24K Gold
