Meet the Founder
Kayan grew up in a Lebanese household where food was everything. Some of her favourite memories are sitting around the table with family or lingering for hours at restaurants, laughing, talking, and sharing beautiful meals. When her mother opened her own restaurant, Kayan’s connection to food deepened even more, she spent years in the kitchen learning how to cook and create dishes that were both comforting and nourishing.
While she always loved cooking for others, Kayan also experienced her own complicated relationship with food. That journey led her to explore nutrition and truly listen to her body. She experimented with different ways of eating - vegan, gluten-free, pescatarian, and more, eventually finding balance and healing along the way.
Every experience has led her here, and she feels deeply grateful to do what she loves every day. With over a decade of cooking experience and more than four years working as a private chef, Kayan has built a career rooted in intention, creativity, and care. She is the founder of a successful supper club in Vancouver and has been featured in Daily Hive, recognizing her thoughtful approach to food and community. For Kayan, cooking is more than just making food, t’s a creative, grounding practice. Nothing brings her more joy than preparing meals that nourish the body, calm the mind, and feed the soul.
